I remember when the Union was the "oldest daily in the west". As a high schooler, I arranged for a day to "shadow" a reporter there. It included a wonderful visit with the editor for a pretty long talk. You could tell he really loved it. I wonder if they still have the sculpture of Mark Twain's head out front.

As a news reporter for Good Day Sacramento, I get to see and do some pretty exciting things. Often times, I get a front row seat of history in the making. The best part about my job is being in my hometown. I hope to capture some of these experiences and share them with you!
